PRIVACY POLICY — FANCY GEMS STONE ENTERPRISES
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Fancy Gems Stone Enterprises handles information in version 1.0 of the Android application. The application is designed for users in Pakistan and provides an account-free gemstone and jewellery catalogue, local shopping tools and a cash-on-delivery order flow.
2. Information collected
The application does not create user accounts, operate analytics, display advertising or automatically transmit personal information. When a user chooses to use shopping features, the application stores the following information locally on the Android device: favourites, comparison selections, cart items and quantities, recently viewed products, search history, typed delivery addresses, locally created order records, notification read states, settings, review text and support-form content.
3. Information not collected
The application does not collect payment-card numbers, bank details, wallet details, cryptocurrency information, passwords, precise or approximate device location, photographs, camera content, files, audio, contacts, call information, SMS, calendar data, Bluetooth data, nearby-device data, biometrics, advertising identifiers or behavioural analytics.
4. Local data storage
Normal shopping state is stored using Android application preferences. It remains on the device until the user removes relevant items through application controls, clears application data through Android settings or uninstalls the application. Android system backup and device-transfer behaviour depends on the user's operating-system and Google account settings.
5. User-submitted information
Delivery addresses, reviews and support-form content are entered voluntarily and validated locally. The bundled support form saves its success state locally and does not automatically transmit the entered message. If the user chooses to open an external email or sharing application, that external application controls any information the user then sends.
6. Permissions
The application requests no dangerous or runtime Android permission. It does not request location, camera, photos, storage, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS, calendar, Bluetooth, nearby-device, notification or biometric permission. The current implementation also does not declare the Android INTERNET permission because product artwork and catalogue data are bundled locally.
7. Internet access and third-party services
The current source code contains no analytics, advertising, payment, map, cloud-database or social-network SDK. Product images are bundled with the application and are not downloaded at runtime. Optional email and share actions use Android intents and open an external application only after the user makes that choice. The external application's privacy terms then apply.
8. Image and content sources
The application includes original product-oriented gemstone and jewellery artwork created for this project. No personal photographs are required for normal operation. Catalogue descriptions, Pakistan locations and sample business information are bundled application content and should be verified before production use.
9. Data sharing
Fancy Gems Stone Enterprises does not receive or share locally stored application data through this version of the application. The user may independently choose to send content through an external email or sharing application. No sale of personal information occurs in the application.
10. Data retention and deletion
Users can remove favourites and cart items, clear recent views and search history, delete delivery addresses when more than one exists, cancel eligible local orders, clear application storage through Android settings or uninstall the application. Clearing application data or uninstalling removes locally stored application information, subject to any Android backup copy controlled by the user's device settings.
11. Security
The application uses ordinary Android private application storage. Reasonable care is taken to validate local form entries and avoid unnecessary data collection. No method of device storage is guaranteed completely secure, so users should protect physical and account access to their devices.
12. Children's privacy
The application is a general gemstone and jewellery shopping catalogue and is not directed to children under 13. It intentionally avoids account creation, advertising and behavioural tracking. A parent or guardian may remove local application data using Android settings.
13. User choices
Users may browse without creating an account, decline to enter a delivery address until checkout, avoid external email and share actions, turn off optional local preferences, remove stored shopping state or stop using the application at any time.
14. Changes to this policy
If the application's data practices, permissions, dependencies, backend services or transmission behaviour change, this policy must be updated before the changed version is published. A revised effective date should be shown inside the application and in this file.
